Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson have been playing records in their hometown of Cork for more than twenty years. Throughout the 1990s their residency at the city’s legendary Sir Henry’s introduced a generation of Irish clubbers to house music and played host to some of the biggest names on the underground circuit. Since finishing their Sir Henry’s residency in 2001 the duo have travelled widely, bringing their unique sound to clubs and festivals throughout Ireland, Europe and beyond. During that time they have also hosted many of the world’s top house DJs at their regular hometown Go Deep parties.
Boasting a rich musical history, stretching back to the thriving 90’s house scene in Hamburg – Vincenzo’s career spans four acclaimed artist albums and an impressive back catalogue of timeless singles on iconic labels like Dessous, Pokerflat, Liebe*Detail, Winding Road, Wa- tergate, Phono, Anjunadeep, Mobilee, on his own label Teardrop and many more. Following on from 2011’s “Wherever I Lay Me Head” on Steve Bug’s Dessous Records (“an impressive piece of work” Resident Advisor), Vincenzo’s fourth album “The Vanishing Years” sees him develop the warm melodic sound on which he has built his reputation over the past two decades.
Nikos Diamantopoulos is a producer, musician, DJ, born and raised in Greece. He is a house music Veteran and been serving the music industry for more than 30 years, numbering more than 200 releases, including 4 full length albums (LP’s) and collaborated with the most famous artists including Little Louie Vega, Jask, Lustral, Hiroshi Watanabe, Roland Clark, Jamie Lewis. His music is featured on top record labels such as Armada Music, Defected, King Street, Purple Music, Vida Records. He studies music since he was 9, mastered the organ and also worked as both session musician and keyboards teacher. Performed in hundreds of venues in Greece and abroad, Nikos sound is described as dreamy & emotional and multi-influenced by many cultures, including jazz, soul, afro-beat, funk, ethnic – folk music.
The Dutch native Dominique Vijverberg, better known as Deeparture is steadily building his name in house music’s community. Carefully building a reputation for exquisitely crafted and innovatively programmed dance music, using his Deeparture production soubriquet, Vijverberg, has already caught the attention of the industry’s most celebrated names.
His musical style can be described as uplifting, extravert, melodic and climax driven. A true blend of the emotional and rhythmic content of progressive house, combined with high energy build-ups and basslines found in techier styles. His music found home on a variety of labels like WEITER, This Never Happened, FSOE UV, Zerothree, Colorize, Poesie Muzik, Soulful Techno and Songspire. With support on his productions by the likes of Eelke Kleijn, Karotte, Lane 8, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur and many others, the future looks promising for this aspiring dj/producer.
Born and raised in Turkey, Evren Furtuna has grown largely familiar to the city of Istanbul and Ankara, playing from large clubs to small and exclusive parties. He understands that success requires versatility but also acknowledges the importance of preservation. The keen balance of versatility and preservation astoundingly differentiate him from others.
His versatility can be seen anywhere from exposing music lovers to new and locally-unheard sounds to pushing himself creatively in the studio. On the other hand, the preservation he presents can be seen in his character–his passion for the music is something that will never change.
